Hope you parked your RV on the parade route Wednesday to reserve your spot.

I'd like to thank all the fellow parish residents who felt the need starting on Monday to park their trucks, trailers, etc, in the emergency shoulder lane on Judge Perez, thus making it damn near impossible to see traffic on Judge Perez (which is usually going 15-20 mph above speed limit) when trying to cross it or turn onto it from a side street.

This ain't Endymion, people. You can find a spot on the front row 10 min before it starts.

So true. I've never been to a parade in St. Bernard where you couldn't be right up front on the street, and this is from a guy who remembers the Mardi Gras Day parade that went up St. Bernard Hwy. back in the 60's.

Nah brah, not going. My roof is somehow leaking, and I can't figure out how, so I'm pulling off the siding and soffit today. I haven't seen that side of the family in a while, but my mom went to a party with them last weekend. My uncle will probably go today

I’m not sure how much money it’d take, but I’d definitely have to be paid to go to that

how do we class up St. Bernard? Is the upper half of the parish doomed by the encroachment of the former lower 9th ward? Did the rebuilt public schools hasten the parish's demise by attracting those people?
