Theme or regionally based web sites. Most are too chicken to voice a true opinion but just try and run the whole thing themselves with the help of just a few pathetic minions.

Are their certain industries in which it seems like everyone who works in it, seems to think they know it all? Operators for example, a lot of operators seem to think they have it all figured out.

Engineering and it isn't even close in my mind. I have never seen a group of people so hell bent on showing how much more they know than a lay person. I can't tell you how many times a room full of engineers tried to destroy me or another salesperson at a lunch and learn. In every group of 10 or 15 engineers, there seems to always be 5 or 6 who get off by destroying someone they think they're better than. I get it, you'd rather not be bothered by salesmen but you also get pissed when you aren't called on and blindsided because you were ignorant of a new product.

In before I'm a dumb, pain the arse, salesman. I've always gotten through the barrage of ridiculous, off topic, technical questions but they haven't gotten me yet but I can't say the same for some of my colleagues...

Well, you certainly can't put engineers on this list. I know that for certain, as an engineer myself.

Pretty sure ISWYDT and it's pretty clever. For an engineer...

I'm find lawyers as a surprising answer. I find most lawyers to be very stingy about providing any answer where they don't know for a fact they are correct. Ask a lawyer friend who practices family law a question even a hypothetical one about criminal law and they usually won't even speculate or guess.

Haha of the 1000 times I've been asked for legal advice by friends and family, I've probably given 3 confident answers that weren't caveated all to hell.

How has no one listed TD admin yet?

Please don't ban me wise, all-knowing admins. The only thing greater than your knowledge is your mercy.

Potential liability issues for giving out casual free legal advice.

But I do agree that lawyers are some know it all motherfrickers

Lawyers

Engineers

MDs

PhDs

The ones with fixed mindsets in these fields are the biggest pricks I have ever interacted with (they think they know it all)

That said, the ones with growth mindsets in these fields personify success with balance (they know they do not know it all, but strive to learn from everyone around them and more importantly from their failures)

As an operator, I will vouche for your answer. But it's the rule of 3rds on that. 1/3 of all operators are douches.
