Central School Board candidate arrested, accused of indecent behavior with juvenile

East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s deputies arrested District I candidate Joshua Schopp, 20, and charged him with indecent behavior with a juvenile and computer-aided solicitation of a minor.
Authorities say Schopp used Snapchat to talk with a 15-year-old girl, who originally told Schopp she was 17 years old.
According to the probable cause affidavit, even after the teen told Schopp her correct age, he allegedly requested a nude photograph and suggested he and the teen should have sex.
The probable cause form also states Schopp allegedly sent the juvenile a picture of his erect penis. Schopp provided a short video to prove it was his penis in the picture that showed his bedroom that matched the background in the photo.
Authorities say the juvenile recorded the video and messages with Schopp’s phone number and gave the information to law enforcement.
Authorities collected all electronic devices Schopp allegedly used to take photographs.
When Schopp arrived at EBRSO headquarters for questioning, he admitted to sending the picture after learning the victim was 15 years old. He said he felt pressured to send the photo but knew it was a mistake.
Schopp was booked in the EBR Parish Prison.

Yea I read that article and sounds like that girl is a little bitch and tricked him into thinking she was 17. THEN continued to reel him in when she told her real age. Then turned pics into cops.

20:17 or even 20:15. Perhaps not legal, but really? This is not exactly what most people think of when "indecent behavior with a juvenile" gets tossed about.

I agree it isn't like he is in his 40's trying to pickup a 17year old but damn once he found out she was 15 why not just back away then?

20 year old with a 17 year old is legal.
20 year old with a 15 year old is not.
Sounds like it could be entrapment. How is it the man’s fault when the woman lies to him? Would his actions have been legal if she was the age she claimed to be initially? Would he have acted in that way if he knew her true age?
If he sent the pics knowing she was 15, however, then he should get f$&ked by the long dick of the law.

Iberville Parish has a councilman who ran the Fall after his senior year. He turned 18 right before qualifying.
He is now in his last year at Southern, but he is one of the more active councilmen on the board.

That's all I was saying. He's by all means guilty and deserves the sex offender status for 3-5 yrs b/c he knew she was 15 when he sent the pics. But she's also a little bitch for that shite by lying about her age and then still engaging him after telling him her real age.
It ain't like she said "I'm really 15. You need to leave me alone."
The cops who pretend to be children on these apps/sites don't even do that. They state their pretend age(under age) and let the pervert do their thing to go to jail.
