I go to a larger non-denom Bible based church in Scottsdale(although we are not a mega church). My senior pastor would be appalled at the behavior of the church in the OP. Several members of our elder board are highly trained physicians (one is the CEO of the Mayo hospital here).
We have our own app (it's even on Roku) that's been available for a couple years now to stream the sermon online. Also have a podcast as well. And we have a way to tithe online as well.
My church started doing online only services this past weekend. Our pastor acknowledged there are likely many watching that come from a small church that isn't doing online sermons. And asked those guests watching to NOT give to our church but to continue to give to their church.
Our church also has a special fund to financially help out members of our church that may need it to pay bills due to all this going on.

I will be gentle as I have a natural affinity for humble people of faith, whatever their peaceful faith. Of course, this is the opposite of humility, this is world-class ARROGANCE. This is an indifference to the health and welfare of neighbors and the general public that should shock anybody with a conscience. This is extreme IGNORANCE. Ignorance is suffering. These people are suffering and they are potentially furthering the suffering of tens of thousands of other people. Soon, these same PRIMITIVISTS will be wondering how Grandma got sick and why Grandma died. Something tells me this clown-car-driving-idiot is not likely to refuse the fees he collect's at Grandma's impending funeral.
When I say Ignorance is suffering, this is what I mean. Ignorance at the top of the mountain creates an avalanche of suffering that is felt all the way down the mountain in thousands of unexpected ways. It ripples though society in ways that are hard to see but which have a malevolent energy all their own. They think they are a force for good, but they release a malevolent force into the world. To the point where they assist in what the bible calls "plague". It's a truly shameful ignorance.

During the mid 80's recession, we had an ad sales guy at the paper I worked for that wasn't doing well. He was putting, "My inches are in the hands of the Lord" in the slot for his next week's goal on his weekly reports. He was way under his set column inch goals, so he wasn't making any commission. Nor was the company and the rest of us, through profit sharing, gaining anything from his employment. The company rarely fired people over a situation like this, because it was expensive to train new people well enough to service existing accounts. Most people chose to leave on their own, because they couldn't pay their bills on the base pay.
He failed to reach his goals for nearly a whole year. A quarter into a new fiscal year, the owner told his boss to fire him, not for lack of production, but because he couldn't own responsibility for his own production.

Bingo! the answer, and what my church is doing. This reminds me of the "story", or more of a parable about the man sitting on top of his house during the Katrina flood.
Rescuers come the first day to get him,......"no need the Lord will take care of me".
Same thing happens three times in a row.
Of course, the man eventually drowns and when he gets to heaven he complains to God, "I thought You would save me and You didn't!"
The good Lord responds, "I sent rescuers 4 times and you didn't go! That's on you, not Me."

my mountainous rural location was overrun by hordes of vacationing city folk ignoring the stay at home to go fishing, boating, hiking. we have 11 ventilators for 65000 people in an area bigger than rhode island.
at the end of the day our M.D. public health officer closed all hotels, motels and rv parks and all lakes and waterways, and gave them until midnight to leave.
selfish asswipes.

As a bible believing Christian here are a few points for the church in the OP to consider.
1. We are instructed to “ render unto Cesear things that are Cesears’”. This applies to taxes and obey laws - Unless they contradict God’s laws. We aren’t being told we can’t assemble due to our beliefs; it’s because of a current public health issue. If you continue to thumb your nose you will cause all of us more problems down the road.
2. Faith healing and the word of faith movement are a farce. Humans do not have the power to heal.... this is only done by God. If you ever notice they only allow those on stage with conditions that can’t be clearly seen. No one is with CP, MS, other visually obvious conditions are “healed” and the reason given is “they don’t have enough faith”. That position is damning to a person and is clearly unbiblical.
3. God is sovereign. Sometimes he chooses to heal and sometimes he doesn’t and we as humans with limited knowledge of him can come to a complete understanding of His ways. Why aren’t faith healers going to hospitals, cancer clinics, etc making everyone well?
Don’t fall for the heresy these “feel good” , self help churches spew out. If the message is more about us than about Jesus it’s not the true Gospel.

I could get behind a church like this. I am not a religious person, but if I were going to go to a church and I was donating, I would like to see that that mine and everyone else's money is going to a good cause. Being used to help people..
