I'd bet my life savings you can't name a single thing I "made up" but are here blabbering about how I "usually" do it.
He linked the CDC announcement that vaccinated are showing the same viral load as unvaccinated when both test positive.

I love that Stout said he doesn't believe they're testing for the variant, then posts an article about the variant that could only be so if they're testing for the variant.
So, which is it?
But he's not an idiot, not at all.

Did you read the link you posted? It still states unvaccinated people transmit it more and even includes studies at the bottom of the article with percentages of effectiveness for the different vaccine types

Rapid tests are not testing for the Delta variant IIRC. Excuse me if after the Flu disappeared last year and now the CDC is changing testing guidelines yet again, I don't trust that they are truly distinguishing between the two.

Scruffy can’t wait for cities and states to start shutting down sporting events again.

Oh, yea, this is definitely going to end soon. This round of masks and shutdowns will definitely do the trick. Let’s keep it going.

Nobody is going to want to hear this but a mandate is coming for the vaccine when the FDA approves them IMO.
This half arse approach isn’t getting us very far.
I know many people vote for the other option of just letting everything rip
but we all know that isn’t going to be the approach.

COVID-19 may be “just a few mutations” away from being able to evade vaccines, CDC Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky warned Tuesday.
Walensky said the current vaccines are effective against severe cases of the coronavirus, including those caused by its known variants, but its continuing spread could allow the disease to mutate beyond the immunizations’ protection.
“The largest concern that I think we in public health and sciences are worried about is that virus and potential mutations … [have] the potential to evade our vaccine in terms of how it protects us from severe disease and death,” Walensky said at a press briefing.
“Right now, fortunately, we are not there. These vaccines operate really well in protecting us from severe disease and death. But the big concern is the next area that might emerge, just a few mutations potentially away, could potentially evade our vaccines.”
Good grief.

Of course not, everyone wants to blame our government when most countries are doing nearly the samething. They are gonna play it safe and at some point make it hard not be vaccinated

I think we’re passed the point of our “understanding” of things doing more harm than good.

That is what they have been saying all along. As long as they make a vaccine, I’m good.

The CDC is fricking worthless.
Just like pretty much every government agency.

Yes but that's not what the CDC is now saying. They literally change their tune today. Blame them for the confusion. The studies are " still awaiting peer review"
The CDC said:
quote:
The Delta variant makes it easier for vaccinated people to transmit the virus, the CDC said.
Vaccinated and unvaccinated people infected with Delta may have similar viral loads.
quote:
Walensky said CDC investigations have found that the amount of virus present in vaccinated people infected with Delta is similar to the levels found in unvaccinated people with Delta infections. That's an indication that vaccinated people can easily transmit the virus
They literally said they are still investigating the numbers so obviously they aren't listening to the studies you base your case on.

I don't trust that they are truly distinguishing between the two
Which is it, you're trying to have both, which doesn't make sense.

A mandate for a vaccine the cdc director just said may be rendered useless soon? See the problem with letting this idiot spout off?
Their answer is masks? Really? Does anyone know what the frick they are doing? So say the vaccines eventually don’t work. Then what? We mask and distance on and off for eternity?

I am posting what the CDC said today. I am just saying what you stated earlier is no longer the messaging your heroes at the CDC are putting out there.
