But what concerns me more than anything is the hospitals being overwhelmed. At least in my area that hasn’t been an issue yet but they are seeing an uptick among the unvaccinated.

Hospitals have never been overwhelmed at any point

I got vaccinated because I have one of those bad preexisting conditions (just to be extra safe), but there are so many reasons not to get vaccinated. The people that are constantly pushing it are the worst type of people.

Absolutely none of these can shut an office down.

So do you care about your coworkers or do you care about being able to go to the office?

And why would your office shut down if you and others that are vaxed won’t be getting sick or spread it?

This is why masks are needed again. Get used to it, they’ll be around until everyone has the shot

Not entirely avoiding.

No vaccine is 100% full proof.

Anecdotally, everyone I know that is currently out from work with the virus or hospitalized have consciously chosen to avoid the vaccine. One of the ones admitted openly ridiculed people for taking the vaccine just a couple of months ago.

Why do we all of a sudden care about people making decisions that may result in them dying?

If you are vaccinated you are protected.

Anyone can spread it so worrying about someone’s vaccination status is pointless.

Well from an economic standpoint not really.

It sure would be nice if some uninsured minorities would get vaccinated for $20 instead of getting sick as frick and having a 5-6 figure hospital bill they’ll never pay and the hospital has to eat.

If the data proves the vaccine works and people in hospitals are vast majority unvaccinated then the government shuts shite down again because of those numbers, then why wouldn’t I care?

This is true at least in my area.

They did have to repurpose a couple of wings to house Covid patients. But they handled it. And things are back to normal now.
