I'll never understand how people wreck on the causeway. It's a straight shot.

Bc people here drive like race car drivers. I moved to another state and drive 80 in a 70 and feel like I’m Richard petty. On i10 that’s just keeping pace.

No shoulder for the majority of it. People get distracted or very sleepy. Or they simply text and drive.

All kinds of reasons for wrecks on highway., even straights. Stop defaming speed, Richard.

*insert gif of dude on causeway pitting someone who cut in too close to him, and not spilling his drink while doing it*

Distractions

And hard to get to a place to pull over if you have car trouble… so someone distracted plows into you

Fun fact people have been wrecking on that bridge since it opened and that was in 1957. In 1957, you could possibly have a car phone the size of your trunk and you would have to fight for the few call channels they had available back then. Of course to have one, you had to be pretty wealthy.

And a call had to be a real emergency, and not the wife calling to get a gallon of milk at Schweggmans or the latest gossip about the neighbors.

OT is like: “baw if I want to drive 100, get your arse out of the fast lane when you’re passing someone”.

But yeah, interstate wrecks happen because of people just riding asses at 80-90 mph. frick all of you that do it.

That's odd. I usually get a text notification if there is wreck on the Causeway.

Wasn't a wreck. Was a high speed chase.

If you are dumb enough to be at fault for a wreck on something like that or an interstate, you should face jail time for causing everyone else a precious loss of time

Slow down in these conditions. Several people died on 55 because fools were driving too fast while blinded by fog.
