Looks like they cut the wires going to the O2 sensor. It’s going to throw codes, and as stated above check engine light will be on. Not sure about Honda’s, but some vehicles out there will put it into a limp mode, and she won’t be able to drive it.
Like said above, just straight pipe it, and go online and buy an O2 simulator. It fools the cars ecm into thinking there is still an O2 sensor installed, and everything is ok.

I asked the police when filing my police report and the officer said he didn’t give a shite but technically other officers could technically start something t because driving it was a noise violation

Prepare here for the CEL that is almost certainly going to come up on the dash. Also, let her know the gas milage could be significantly lower depending on how rich the computer is willing to run as a result of the downstream O2 sensor being chopped off.

She will be fine other than the noise and people looking at her. Mine were stolen off of my Tundra.
On a side note the thieves only want the original cats. They've hit over 30 of my work trucks but have never stolen a replacement cat.

That picture does show what smooth cuts the perps made, almost as if they knew to bring the right tool for that job.

About 6 months ago I drove past a Prius that this had obviously happened to.
