Don't know who this is. But sucks to hear that he will leave loved ones in misery.

Hope the best for the family.

What, he always seemed so happy too. I liked his show.

Even his Boudreaux and Thibadeaux jokes.

It's crazy how you never know what's going on with someone behind closed doors. I saw him at Rouses Saturday afternoon. Always looked happy..

I heard that he had a friend drive him to the hospital and told him he needed to run in for something real quick. He then took out his drivers license and donor card and shot himself in the bathroom. After waiting outside for a while his friend went inside and found him. I also heard he left a note to his family that mentioned financial troubles...can't say if that's true or not though.

Dang that's rough.

With such a successful career, you'd think there will be more coming out. Maybe financial issues.

Rumor is there was a note. He had just dropped someone off at ER. Note was something along the lines of "sorry I hurt you"

I really enjoyed his show, seemed like every episode they showed Different recipes and how to cook whatever they caught that day.

I run with a team that benefits St. Judes ... he's had some kids from our area that are/were St. Jude patients on his show. This is awful.

We have to remember that these local fishing show hosts don't live the glamorous, baller lifestyles that we all imagine they do. They too have real problems, hopes and dreams.

Brutal. Obviously more to this story. Was a good show and seemed like a happy guy. Just never know

Damn, that's crazy and I hate to hear it.

I was just flipping through channels yesterday morning and saw his show. I've done that often times on Sundays and seen his show. He always seemed very upbeat and positive. Promoted his business quite well and always seemed to live chatting with people.

Prayers for his family and friends.

He'd be the last person I think would do that. Great personality, I've been watching his shows for 20 years or more.
