some people that vile, hateful, and racist, believe, in their twisted way of thinking, that they've done nothing wrong, maybe did something right

Pine tree country? What area are you referring to? The delta was historically as bad as anywhere and worse than most.

The Delta was the least racist place in the South. You said it was the most racist place in the South. I was simply correcting you.

Black agricultural workers had economic value to the wealthy planters, who insulated them from the worst of Jim Crow, as long as they didn't do anything to upset the status quo, like try to unionize or register to vote.

Yea, I know. The Klan was born in Pine tree country. In Louisiana it was the western parishes, where Ag was not. In Mississippi the Klan came from the East. Starkville and places like that. Delta planters needed blacks and despised the Klan. The book Rising Tide does a great job of explaining this..

Book Rising Tide does a great job of capturing race relations in the delta at the time.

My guess would be where pine trees flourish. Where the soil changes and two different cultures collide. Perhaps you should read a book.

The Klan didn't come from Louisiana. Starkville has no significant history of KKK activity. You're throwing darts at the wall. Some other regions in Mississippi was as bad as the delta. I never said they otherwise. There was a lot of agriculture in East Mississippi back then, and a lot of cotton is still grown there today.

Can someone explain why she deserved to be in jail. It has been posted over and over again but what exactly should she have been jailed for?

Her husband and the others than participated in the lynching? Of course. But y’all walk us through why she should have been arrested
