So much for a domestic focus.
Thanks, Trump.

Are we sending the ship named after the gay guy?

It was just there last month and this is not uncommon

Clearly, the US and China are finally in agreement on NK. This is an interesting policy shift.
The only real way to put an end to the fat kid's continuous threats is to take out his nuclear capabilities and then, let the civil war occur to topple him.

A big problem is Seoul. No way to stop its devestation early on. NK can inflict serious damage before it can be stopped.

Just a small town of ten million civilians. Home to Samsung, Kia, Hyundai, and LG.

??? So after we remove his "nuclear capabilities" what happens to his 1.2 million-troop standing army? Or the 7.7 million troops in reserve? Or the 18 million-person civilian population that, since birth, has been taught that Kim Jong Un and his ancestors are literally gods?
Best case scenario you end up with a humanitarian crisis that lasts for the next few decades. These people have been brainwashed for generations. I don't know what the solution is, but going in there guns blazing against a crazy guy who can easily destroy large parts of Seoul is the wrong move, to put it lightly.

North Korea has threatened US security and China is letting them do it. Wipe them off the map now before it's too late

The summit this week in Palm Beach with the Chinese president must have gone pretty well.

I though Seoul had a pretty advanced missle defense system? And we just sent more assets to that system?
I am in NO WAY military in my background. Maybe no such thing exists and is effective. And probably can't defend shelling from North Korea.
Side tangent. After seeing countless videos of naval launches of missles at Syria I have a question. There appears to be a whole hell of a lot of wobble to those missles immediately after launch. Sometimes looks like a 20-30 degree pitch before it gets 100-200 feet in the air and rights itself and is off. Ever any malfunctions? Some missles appear close to the bridge? It must be an arse puckering moment? Or I am just a pussy. Lol

One day after NBC reported that the National Security Council had presented Trump with three options vis-a-vis North Korea, namely i) put American nukes in South Korea , ii) kill Kim Jong-un or iii) use the CIA to infiltrate North Korea to sabotage or take out key infrastructure, a US carrier group has departed Singapore and is headed for North Korea.

Anytime a power vacuum is created by the ending of an oppressive regime, shite gets even more fricked up than anyone ever estimates.
If they take out the fat kid, it's gonna be an even bigger mess for the citizenry.

Seoul is within artillery range of NK. It would be severly damaged or hit with VX in the first 10 min of a war.
There are some military plans that could mitigate the threat, but its risky and the enemy always gets a vote.
Best plan is probably to have China sponsor a coup. Then gradually modernize NK. But the fat kid has been purging all of the top regime members with connection to China.
