Card collectors, is now a good time to sell Jordan rookie basketball card?

I have a Fleer 1986-87 # 57 Michael Jordan Rookie Card.
Looks like it was graded by SG? Rated as an 86, which appears to be of good quality. I see another service that issues a PSA, but I am not sure what all this means or if it worth getting it graded by a different company?
I'm seeing some astronomical prices for Jordan rookie card, granted it is a gem mint and going for $90K on eBay right now and I recognize that mine isn't considered "perfect." But the market appears hot for Jordan right now and an 86 (again, whatever that really means) seems to be one of the "better" Jordan cards you can find without paying an arm and a leg.
Based upon this information, what could a card like mine fetch at an online auction, such as eBay?
BTW, I obtained this card in a trade as a teenager. I traded my Fisher home stereo system for this card and have kept it locked away all this time.

You’re going to wish you hadn’t sold it.

I dunno, but I bet that Fisher system is worth a gem right now.

Only thing that's going to push his card value higher is his death. Hopefully that's not coming for a very long time.
If I were you I'd strike while the iron is hot.

if you need the money do it but if not I would keep it. I know I would.

I can’t imagine demand being higher than right now.

It's not a necessity for me to sell. I'm just asking if the timing is right to sell it considering "The Last Dance?"

The past several weeks me and two other friends have been going through our cards we had when we were younger. One of them decided to buy a box of 2020 football cards that is a set of just the rookies and he got a Tua autographed card. Tua has the most sold jersey's of all NFL players since the draft so he is hot at the moment, the card he got is a limited edition type card and he saw one sold on ebay for over $200.
Now to the point. Yesterday on bleacher report, there was an article about a pair of autographed J1s that were selling for $560k. This article says they were sold.

As for as your card, the difference between a mint condition card and one rated just below mint is pretty big. The higher the rating the more unique it is and mint condition is pretty rare. But in reality its worth as much as someone is willing to pay. Throw it up on Ebay, put what you are willing to sell it for and see if someone is willing to pay that much.

I agree w this.
I dont think cards will ever be what they once were, but will spike post death for big name athletes.

I would sell it if your not attached to it any way....You will make good money....all of his cards are going crazy right now....seems like the card market is making a come back....the graded stuff is what is selling now....also Joe Burrow autographed cards are getting a nice price also.....

Check the link below. A LOT of these cards are selling on eBay right now. Scroll down and see what the actual SELLING prices are. You can probably get $4-5K for it right now.
That might be what some delusional seller is ASKING for it. You need to be concerned with what people are actually paying in real transactions.

Probably just as valuable as being ungraded. If it's not graded by Beckett or PSA, it's grade isn't worth anything

Some people say we're in a bubble due to the Trump bucks and people getting back into boredom collecting, some people say we're not because it's really only the rare cards that are going up in value due to scarcity. I would lean with the former, but I do agree the latter is also correct.
It's far more prevalent in Pokemon cards. WOTC cards have absolutely skyrocketed whole the newer very rare cards have stagnated

Yes now would be the time

I say yes. Good time to sell. People have stimulus money and he's gotten an unexpected after-career boost in popularity because of the documentary. I cant see him ever becoming more popular than he is now.
But that being said, MJ will be like Babe Ruth. Unless he does something awful like OJ, he'll never not be popular, even generations after he passes. By comparison, Mickey mantle prices have also just gone up and up. I think due to the people that watched him as a kid, then grew up and got money, and still like the nostalgia of Mantle. MJ will be similar now that the kids that watched him are adults with disposable income.
