Stole a pair of small female Nike's but didn't get the sunglasses or anything else. The car was foolishly unlocked so obviously that's on me. But I'm displeased that even if these kids would have been caught red handed there isn't anything to be done about them and that the city would have done about it to make sure they see their time in court. We live in a lawless land and criminals know it.

Congrats on the sex or sorry about your small feet situation.

Or both.

They didn't care that it was unlocked.

I don't understand why anyone would think it's ok to leave your car unlocked, let alone, in New Orleans.

The joke's on them because women's Nikes are your fetish and your jizz is all over them.

That’s why I now leave nothing visible. Not even sunglasses or phone charger

Where uptown?

They did just change laws which I think now if the juvenile is waiting a court date and gets arrested again they are held in custody until a judge views the case. Previously they were let go

Was not on purpose. Just forgot to lock it.

Better than paying for a broken window out of pocket?

Probably saved yourself some money from not having to replace a broken window.

Idk, imagine if you had the same situation AND a broken window to deal with.

When I lived Uptown I purposely started leaving my car unlocked and NOTHING inside after having to deal with multiple smashed windows. frick that.

If I lived in New Orleans I’d purposely leave it unlocked (with nothing in it)

If I lived in an area with a lot of car burglaries I'd just leave my doors unlocked and nothing valuable in my vehicle. I used to do this when I lived in Tigerland because I was tired of getting the damage fixed.
