Car thieves are like cockroaches

These a holes have crawled through my truck multiple times looking for the gun that they know must be in a 4x4 truck. They cut my horn wire once and also broke my door handle. In a world where a person can shoot another and get some bs charge there is no way that LE is going to do anything. I hate those a-hole.

All three times in San Antonio

Having lived in Nola, BR and now Memphis for the last 4 years….never had a problem with vehicle break ins EXCEPT In Baton Rouge.
I’m well aware it’s a major issue in all three of those places, but god damn my locked truck got broken into 3 times in the year before we moved from BR. They got nothing but maybe $2 in change from my cup holder. We lived in Bocage.

Nope. Welcome to reality. If you live in a shitty area and not garaged, leave it unlocked and put a sign on the window saying it’s unlocked and they are welcome to check but nothing inside. Beats a broken window/lock. The local criminals will learn to pass your truck by.

I believe I'd have a plan to wait up and see if I could introduce myself to them one lonely night.

Main reason I moved away from San Antonio. Truck was stolen twice while I lived there.
1st time: 2 days after I bought the truck, recovered the next day.
2nd time (4 months later): picked my fiancé up from the airport. Went have dinner at Ruth Chris then drinks at a bar next door. Truck was stolen with all her luggage. We had only been dating for 3 months at the time. Truck was recovered 3 weeks later after it had been hauling illegals during that time
Needless to say, I moved back to LA about a month later

The most blatant was at Brackenridge GC in broad daylight, early morning tee time so they know the owner is away. The place has park police and cameras but they also know that nothing is going to be done to stop them

Time to setup watch outside your truck and let them find that gun they've been looking for...including the bullets too

Some of you need to accept that this happens other places besides New Orleans. Cities across the country are becoming shitholes and people are fleeing to suburbs and the country. Eventually there will be nowhere to go.

shite, vehicle burglaries are rampant in Nola. They actually discussed having the government reimburse people for smashed windows a few years ago.

My company has infrastructure all over Texas. You know where we're having the most theft? South Texas. Almost a 300% increase versus the entire rest of the state. What could be going on in south Texas that isn't every where else?!

This is a perfect response to that thread with the dumbass asking why anyone would buy a decent chunk of land. I have 6 acres and all the neighbors in my area have similar or more. You know what never happens where I live? POSs would be shot and buried deep in the woods, never to be seen again.

When they finally let you out of the big house, can you update us on how your evening and next 5-10 years went?

I put a lazer alarm on my carport when I heard of some catalytic converters being stolen in the hood. It works like a charm. I ran some scholars off at gun point a month or two ago.

It’s true. We better move to the suburbs and then elect Democrats.

The world has no use for a thief. Should be hung up in a public place to die a slow death. I value roaches more. I even value a rat more. At least a rat serves as food for other animals.
