Walked out to get in my car b today to find it... not there.

Called the cops and after a while they said, "Good news and bad news. We know where your car is but they wrecked it in a high speed chase. "

Oh boy.

The kids bailed and ran. Cops didn't catch them.

Towing company wants $400 to release my car... even though I had nothing to do with the incident.

Not exactly a Sunday Funday.

I did. Guess I overestimated the safety of my neighborhood and driveway.

That's why I think it was some knucklehead kids.

You left your keys in the car in Birmingham and now you're shocked that it was stolen?

I have a reed switch in my work van. If I don't have a magnet in my cupholder the engine won't start.
When I get bored I come up with crap to modify the work van.
It's the door switch four a ge washer, I have the power to the starter relay running through it.
I can leave the keys in the ignition and all.

I have an arduino system I'm putting together for remote start and kill.

It was a dumb move. I'm not going to deny that. Still doesn't excuse someone from being a fricking thief.

Correct, you're the drunk girl who got naked at a party and then dateraped.

It's not your fault, but you're an idiot

I don't understand how a person can learn to be a good car thief without learning how to drive a car.

What’s even the logic with leaving the keys in the car? You’ve gotta take them out of the ignition, meaning they’re already in your hand, so why not take them inside? I don’t care if you’re 50 miles from life in the middle of nowhere in Alaska, why leave the keys in the car?

You left your keys in the car? Just leave a fricking note that says “Free Car” next time.
