No one is saying it's your responsibility. It's your responsibility not to intentionally use your vehicle in an act of violence because they piss you off by breaking a traffic law.

The wrongs here were attributed to the Knievel's. Even if Mrs. Evil loses an arm, old man deserves a slap on the wrist.

Earlier in this thread you had some dude post that the old guy shouldn't take it upon himself to enforce traffic laws, then in the same post say that he should have gotten his arse beat.

So... it's uncool for him to go vigilante, but it's totally acceptable for the bikers?

If I punch your wife are you going to hit me or call the cops?

If you hurt my friend, I'm going to hurt you. That's how real friends are. Not wait for police and hope they settle it. NO, you physically assault (that's what the old man did) a friend or family of mine, I'm going to take serious issue with that. I can sleep with my shoes as pillows for a couple of nights not a problem.

Dude, you're a cool poster and I like you. But that's fricked up. Yeah the guy on the crotch rocket was stupid for passing on a double yellow. He was in the wrong there. But that does not justify this old man to go vigilante and try to kill him and the girl on his bike.

So epic old man shouldn't take the law into his own hands but you condone street justice...

Interesting.

Fair enough. People on here have unsuccessfully been trying to figure out for along time who I ride with. If you don't want to share that information, I respect your decision.

two wrongs don't make a right, but again if you intentionally assault my friends or family I am going to assault you. I would expect them to and know they have my back in the same way.

Yeah, because that's exactly the same.

I'm even on your side regarding the old dude, but all the bikers just keep showing their tendency toward violence, and it's pretty hypocritical.

They're just good men. They'll kick anyone's arse. The law doesn't mean shite if you can kick their arse.

so then the old mans family would have every right to get vigilante justice on the guys who physically harmed him right?

Exactly. I personally think the guy with the camera showed a great deal of restraint. And while I don't condone "road vigilante" behavior, if that was one of my brothers, I'm pretty sure it would be very hard for me to show that same level of restraint were I in that situation.
