If you take out all the "germans" posts, this thread is 1/3 the length of the original post.

No, most everyone uses frivolous litigation, not guns, to resolve disputes.

Police carry guns, they use the threat of said guns to keep people in check. So by calling the police you are calling in guns to settle the dispute.

I don't know. Grown ups fist fighting is pretty trashy, across the board.

Why is it okay though to talk smack, if you think backing it up is trashy?

Not directed to you, but in my absent mind, I think if you are going to say anything, you better be prepared to back it up.

That fella should be hit with attempted vehicular homicide. And I hope they take that asshats license away for life

That could have ended so much uglier for those riders.

You did say though, on page 2, that, "This dick deserved an arse beating right there on the side of the road and needs to be thrown in jail." So yeah, you might not have said that you personally would do anything to him, but you're playing up the violent culture of bikers.

Saying he deserves his arse beat and actually beating his arse is two different things.

I would just worry that I would take the arse kicking too far and end up in prison...at least I like to think I would be able to restrain myself but I will never know unless I am in the situation. which I hopefully will never know the answer to.

They decided to give this thread the anchor, and I need to step out, it really brought up some bad emotions.

Sometimes I look at them, and want one again, that freedom. But then another friend talks me out of it.

I've lost friends and brothers on bikes as well. And my own close calls are always in the back of my mind. I still ride almost daily though. I understand and respect your decision though.

So you're saying that when I'm in a fender bender, and I call the police to get them to come and fill out an accident report that I can send to my insurance company, I'm calling in guns to settle the dispute??

Talking smack is trashy too. But two trashies doesn't make a not trashy.

are two different things.

And in this context, not really. They both hold to the vigilante justice stereotype of bikers.

Festus, I'll just say I'm probably wrong, and I don't think I can be rational on this subject.

You should start a thread, and let the upvotes and downvotes decide, who is the most popular biker on here, Darth or Festus? Upvote for Fes, downvote for Darth.

Are maybe are you too scared to know the results?

I don't have to prove myself to you, especially considering you're not even a biker, in some sort of junior high school popularity contest. But if you want, start your thread, show your bike, I'll show mine.

"I don't care" could mean a lot of things. You can't possibly know what his intent was from those three words alone, so you'd be in the wrong still.

Hey, you're the one claiming the crown without basis. I'm just saying, if you want to claim the title of most popular biker here, it's kind of chickensh*t that you do so without proof. I'm just mudchecking you.

Here's the difference between us though. I actually am a biker and pretty much everyone who knows me here knows that about me. It's not some sort of super power or talent. Rather, it's just who I am. I'm sorry if that bothers you.
