TJ Ribs sounds trashy and the building looks trashy. Why go there?

if it's happening all the time perhaps a sting of some sort should be set in place to catch them?

No. It’s near St George but that part of Siegen was annexed. Also there’s a large set of section 8 apartments behind the academy next to that TJ’s. They all probably go to that TJ’s

No it wasn't. The only part of Siegen that was annexed was the shopping center with Wal Mart and Lowes. TJ's on Siegen is on the other side of the interstate from that

I agree with what everyone has posted. We all know about the crime in Baton Rouge. The only reason I started this thread was to let people know that there's a restaurant in Baton Rouge (TJ RIBS) that refuses to take action to protect their customers vehicles while they dine in their establishment. I think this is irresponsible and unacceptable. I also think LSU and Coach O should Find a safer venue to host their show.

Maybe the thugs we're trying to steal some change so they can take advantage of the 99c ritas!

Is that still going on? Pour servers

If they're breaking into cars in an active parking lot that people are constantly coming in and out of just imagine what they're doing to cars parked in the driveways of all those nice homes with spacious lots on Steele, Richland, and Ramsey Dr

I'm not saying break ins don't happen in that area but those neighborhoods pay for off duty patrols and some influential people keep the on-duty guys close by.

I think the trash has figured out that TJ's is doing nothing about their parking lots and taken advantage. BR needs to fire bomb that stretch of Valley Park and redevelop it. Send that riff raff north of Florida so they can terrorize each other.

They go to show support for Coach O...not for the dining. But you're right...it's a mistake to go to that restaurant.

Why have we as a society deemed it acceptable for the police departments to require us to pay extra to keep us safe? Shouldn't it be enough for this business or the patrons to report this regular criminal activity, and have the PD actually do something about it? TJ Ribs - and all of us - are already paying for police protection from this type of activity.

You pay the Baton Rouge City Police and they Station an off duty officer in a unit in the parking lot. It’s a simple and cheap fix and why they don’t do it is beyond me.

It's simple, but not really cheap. They should be able to figure something out though, geez!

The only thing worse than TJ Ribs food is their clientele. I still cannot figure out how they get anyone to work there.

I learned my lesson. Ordered to-go, took an hour, was ice cold.

Apparently, the thugs come from the neighborhood on the other side of the ditch behind the restaurant.

I highly doubt they come from Honeysuckle. My grandmother's old house is directly behind TJ Ribs across the canal (or coulee if you are from Lafayette).

They might be walking down the canal, but I doubt they are coming from that neighborhood across the canal.

Does Visions still have the tower in the parking lot? I remember that always made me feel safe... I mean it made my friend feel safe.

OP, your friend fricking sucks for leaving a gun in the truck and I have no sympathy for his truck getting messed up.
