I read it. Dude sounds like a recreational user that gets it for his friends. I could be wrong.

He was also stupid for admitting it since the article said they found weed and test at his house, not cocaine.

Upon further research, your suspicions are correct.

Not exactly a "coke dealer"... but not real smart, either...

As detailed in the affidavit, the electronic evidence, including photographs and text message conversations, revealed that Costianes also conspired to traffic cocaine and testosterone by acquiring controlled substances from his suppliers to distribute to friends and associates. For example, in a text message conversation from October 30 to November 1, 2020, Costianes allegedly agreed to obtain four half-gram bags of cocaine from Costianes’s supplier on behalf of cellphone contact “S.C.” In addition, the data allegedly showed that Costianes was facilitating the distribution of testosterone from his testosterone supplier to a cellphone contact “D.M.” For example, in text messages between May 10 and May 15, 2020, Costianes allegedly arranged to buy three 10-ml bottles of testosterone from his supplier on behalf of D.M.

Costianes further admitted that he not only purchased cocaine and testosterone for personal use, but that he also conspired to distribute, and did distribute, cocaine and testosterone to others

It’s crazy seeing the difference in attitude on hurricanes for Floridians vs South La and SE Tx.

The 2 hurricanes in the La/Tx area were Cat 1 and Cat 2 all the way and most people in these threads were getting the hell out of there. Seems like Floridians moreso feel like they can ride out a storm and it’s a damn Cat 4.

As someone who rode out Ida in New Orleans it just seems crazy to me that anyone would want to stick around for this shite. The constant beating of the wind might be one of the scariest things you experience in life.

Perhaps related to the expectations of government response?

Florida has bridges blown down and replaced within weeks. LA seems to take years to rebuild 20 foot bridges over creeks.
Can you ELI5 this image please? Is this showing 80 knot winds in Baton Rouge and nothing in the eye?

can't we drop a hydrogen bomb on it and break up what's little there before its too late.

How many bulk cargo ships full of silica gel would we need to park in the path of the eye? Or maybe just some Saharan dust / sand?

eh i'm seeing 957mb which is a cat 3
Which is a great reason to switch to FuboTV instead of YouTube. They are fighting the good fight against Disney, the real villain. I switched to them from DirecTV Stream last night.

The FedEx One initiative is eliminating most FedEx Express centers and directly employed delivery couriers. The vast majority will now be handled by the employees of the contract holders who own FedEx Ground routes. This has not happened yet in Baton Rouge, but is to be expected within the next year or two.

I don't have an electrician buddy nor one that I trust.

What would an electrician evaluate exactly? Voltage drop was mentioned, anything else that I could check myself?

How do I determine if my 200 amp service is enough for the house? We have finished the basement with additional lighting/electrical but no other major power demands. The lights do dim in the house for a couple of seconds when the furnace or air conditioner kick on.

Try calling your power co to have them check the feed to your house first. That should be no charge.

While I'll agree that things aren't made like they used to be... this seems incredibly excessive. If the house is 25+ years old and you aren't having issues with HVAC or health, I'd guess it's not Chinese Drywall causing the problems, but maybe you should have an electrician check things out? Voltage drops?

I just price checked... and a 6" Ham sandwich at the location closest to me in Baton Rouge is $6.26 after sales tax.

So while the image originates in Australia, the point stands.

I work 3 miles from a walmart. Placed an order last wednesday. From clicking submit on 30 items to a brother calling me saying he was parked by my truck... 12 minutes.

Unless you bought 30 pieces of 1 SKU, this is total bullcock.

3 miles - let's assume at a very minimum, in perfect conditions, 5 minutes travel time... unless of course it's all highway miles with no stops, red lights or turns. I haven't seen neighborhoods that connect directly to walmarts via the Interstate.

In the remaining 7 minutes, your guy received the order, shopped the order, got to his car and exited the parking lot.

At 30 items, That's 14 seconds per item pulled.

A good score for an Amazon warehouse order selector is 100 line items per hour (with batch order pulling efficiency). 1.66 item per minute. Your guy did 4.28 items per minute. And then delivered it in 5 minutes. And then repeated it the next day.

I'm calling shenanigans.

Say no to lastpass! Terrible company. Handled the breach horribly and security decisions before the breach were equally awful.

IIRC, the joke was on the hackers - everything they got was encrypted anyway.

Not so fast… people’s vaults have been cracked and will continue to be more frequently as time goes on and computing power gets cheaper. I doubt many people spent days changing hundreds of passwords.

1Password browser extension not quite as user friendly as LP (for good security minded reasons) but it works well and is a really well run product with security first.
When you're paying the drivers $170K, they really shouldn't need a manager.

"When you look at total compensation, by the end of the new contract, the average UPS full-time driver will make about $170,000 annually in pay and benefits," Tome told investors Tuesday. "And for all part-time union employees that are already working at UPS, by the end of this contract, they will be making at least $25.75 per hour while receiving full health care and pension benefits."
