I’ve owned 2 vehicles since 2002
2002 ford F150 (260,000) that would still be on the road today if I hadn’t bypassed safety feature and it caught on fire. Had to cut off the cats nothing else wrong with it
2019 Ram classic love this truck (155,000) replace front wheel bearings (it’s jacked up 7.5 and 5 front rear with wide 12 ply tires) and cut the cats off.
Fingers crossed it lasts me till I get another one in a year or 2 and it will be a hunting/play truck

Toyota???
My first vehicle was a 83 Toyota pickup. Between me, my brother, and then my dad we put over 300K miles on that little beast. Dad traded it to a buddy for an early 90’s Mazda pickup that died at 200K. Dad says the little red rust bucket Toyota is still running. His buddy uses it for runs to the garden center and other light hauls.
I put the ver 200K on a 2012 Tacoma and only traded it in because I wanted a full size truck.
I’ve got a 2020 Tundra now, second to last year of the 5.7 liter V8. I plan on getting at least 250K out of her.
The only brand new vehicle I ever bought was a Ford Escape. It ate its transmission at 30K and then 10K later started having electrical issues the dealer couldn’t pin down.
I know the F-150s are reliable, but they can’t beat a Tundra.

And who knew they were back?
I know it's a shitbox mechanically, but it has a cool old-school VW Golf vibe. I like it visually.

Golf has a much cooler design but I agree. It's not that bad and pretty good marketing to go after the younger Euro guys that worship VW Golf with a cheaper option.

Hyundai’s ain’t what they used to be.
Great reliable vehicles. I will buy one all day, every day.

I used to say I wouldn’t buy a Subaru because I thought they were lesbian cars. That seems pretty silly now and some of their cars don’t look bad.

Likely list overall, Dodge pickups maybe not.
However it's more about year. When did this or that change, get updated, or improved. Kia's don't know about but have often heard as being not insurable.
