What's the point of buying a BMW if you're going to drive it like a Buick? With so many being taught defensive driving, somebody has to take the offensive side.

Many manufacturers use Bose as a premium option. Ram offers a Harman Kardon package in their big trucks. Acura uses Krell and Lexus with a design from Levinson. Mercedes uses Burmester on their cars and suv's. Just looked it up.

Wealthy liberals and tech industry engineers wanting to show everyone how much they care about the environment, but only now that electric cars and hybrids don’t resemble gay spaceships anymore.

Plus you can’t just say Land Rover when they have models that cost less than 50k

Most of Mercedes Benz sales are for their shite box models that costs less than $45,000.

Luxury car brands are IMO risking their brand equity by making mainstream vehicles like the BMW X1 or Mercedes GLB.

I know some of you like their smaller cars, but everyone I know that has had their vehicles has had big problems (Genesis, Elantra, Santa Fe) that requires multiple, long term loaner cars from Hyundai.

They are likely better than Dodge, Ford, or Fiat in terms of dependability by now....and they’ve improved a lot especially in design quality. But don’t even think they are in the same ball park for reliability as “average” brands like Nissan, VW, Chevy, or Buick yet. They are a long ways away from being a Honda or Toyota competitor when it comes to reliability.

Wealthy republicans tend to either drive jacked up 4x4 chevy or dodge pickup trucks, corvettes, classic cars, cadillacs, or a lexus. Granted, there’s a big mindset split between republicans. More red-necky republicans like the sports cars and trucks while the more establishment stock-broker type republicans drive Lincoln, Cadillac, and Lexus.
