Car brands and their stereotypes

In Asheville this weekend and I don’t think I’ve ever seen this many Subaru’s in my life even at a Subaru dealership. Makes sense though.
Subaru = white liberal
Buick = 65+
Kia = poor
Nissan = terrible taste in cars
Dodge = trash
What are some others?

Interesting about Buick, it only has that rep here. For the rest of the world they’re between a Chevy and a caddy. They lose value remarkably fast so they are great investments for 1-3 year old used cars.

Several years ago, a female friend bought a Subaru and was excited to show it to me. I told her about the stereotype which she didn't believe. I immediately ask a random stranger walking by "Who drives Subarus?" Without hesitation, he repied "Lesbians." :)

Subaru is clearly the car of choice where I live. Close to half of the cars on the road are Subarus. It seems like a lot of people buy them, mount a ski rack, and throw a "The Mountains Are Calling" sticker on the back windshield...just to make sure that everyone around you knows that you like to snow ski.

I associate Toyotas with stick-in-the-mud types who live their lives out of fear. I mean, you didn't even want the mild level of sportiness of a Honda or a Mazda, FFS? These are the same people who think bell peppers are spicy.
