Amazon Web Services is the division of Amazon that was awarded the huge Pentagon cloud computing contract that the Administration is opposing.

Interesting that this chick used to work for them.

Oh boy, if they cracked the subprime database they got a lot of info on people that probably shouldn't have credit cards.

Joke's on the hacker.

I wouldn't mind seeing the banks create fake databases so the hackers steal useless information.

What is the normal sentencing for a crime like that? Honestly, I’d be okay with life. I’m tired of all these data breaches.

According to Capital One, the data included names, addresses and phone numbers

Yet you didn’t pay a nickel out of your pocket for any of them.

If it was a credit card then it's insured. ATM fraud it's up to your bank to decide if they will reimburse you or not. This is why I only use credit cards for purchases.

Here could be a potential solution to the credit card fraud problem.

Instead to printing a CCV code, replace it with a RSA Secure ID chip/display that is changing every 5 minutes. The number cycle gets updated each time it is used at an ATM that way if someone manages a way to clone the card and the RSA sequence it will be changed. If you need a permanent number, you can use the banking app to authorize certain purchases with a unique RSA code. That way Subscriptions could still be charged, but not used for general purchase
