I figured it was already legal there.

OMG. Marijuana makes you gay as evidenced by your picture.

Does the U.S. have a joint on it?
It'd be a lot cooler if it did.

Canada has more homelessness per capita than the US so this should help them stay ahead and boost tobacco sales as well.

“It could be the last week of August — it could be the beginning or mid-September,” Dean said of the availability of recreational pot.
Damn. I'm going at the end of July.

I'm surprised BC hasn't gone full recreational yet.

Instead of adopting it early and capitalizing on something that will eventually happen everywhere, we will still allow religion to dictate fiscal policy, thus continue being a broke state that can’t pay for our incarceration numbers...
It’s somethibg that could increase our state revenue dramatically, but it makes too much sense for our politicians to sack up and legalize a plant

Good.
The USA should do the same thing and commute all sentences for marijuana possession as soon as possible.

And the days of even being able to be an early adopter are almost over. Almost 1/5 of all the states are already legal for rec weed.
Proud that my state (WA) was first in the country.

I've been to DC and no way that Ottawa has more homeless.

I thought this was about Matt Canada

No sweat, Alabama is checking to make sure there's not a way we can double criminalize it. We'll pick up Canada's slack. Thanks to our fearless leader, Mr. Jeff Sessions.
