My point isn't that they should be able to be high at work. My point is that it isnt their business if you do it at home. I'm fine them saying whatever, just saying it's a dumb double standard with alcohol. What business tells their employees they can't drink?

I think legalizing weed is a good idea even though I wouldn't smoke it due to being a firefighter. But, Louisiana will always be a broke state, always. You could rake in 2 billion a year on weed sales taxes and in 2 years Louisiana will still be broke as frick.

Louisiana is missing out on a BIG payday by not legalizing it, especially since all border states are illegal. Imagine the Texas/Arkansas/Mississippi dollars coming into the state. Federal legalization is inevitable. We're missing out big time.

One could go to Colorado on vacation, legally partake, then come home. Take a drug test two weeks later and fail.
A lot of coke's popularity was in it's short half life. A weekend bender won't show on a drug test Monday.
I always thought that drug tests were unfairly slanted against pot because of how long it stays in the body.

Depends on the test. I know people that went on a serious weekend bender and passed a surprise piss test 8 days later.
Daily smokers on the other hand, yeah, they're gonna need 30 days to flush it out.
