Employers are very impressed with a high TD post count. It's really the only reason have a post count that high.

Technically yes but in reality no. First of all if you do post on here don't be stupid enough to use your real name.
Second your potential new employer has to know that you post here and how would they know.

Unless you're using something like Facebook (in which you likely use a name that is identifiable) and posting something controversial I wouldn't worry about it.

Just common sense when you post. If you use an alternate name just be aware that it's still possible to figure out who you are by your writing style. Change it up some.

This is where you're absolutely wrong. I'd hire PEEEEEEJ in a heartbeat... then immediately do the exact opposite of what leaks out of his mouth.

What do I care if he's always right or always wrong? As long as he's consistent and better than randomly picking, you win!

Other than a serious political career, I don't see how it could ever hurt you

And even then you just have to avoid being stupid.

Anyone really think that was the first time Anthony Weiner sent a picture of his junk to someone? I doubt it. He was just stupid, accidentally put it in the public sphere, lost his job.

Is that the world we're looking for, and do I really want to work for someone who wants to track my personal posting on the internet?

The only reason I post online is so that I cannot be judged for ignorance and assholery.

Probably, just don't post anything online you would be embarrassed to see your name next to.
