We were starting a role playing script for a client presentation and before we even started my boss stated that she was comfortable with everything everyone was doing but yours truly.
I was so pissed, but I swallowed my pride and rehearsed, rehearsed etc. I was top 10 in company production before this situation and remain in top 10 (out of 85 reps).
Former boss was fired about 6 months later

Had a indirect supervisor literally yell at me.

Someone had called me to ask questions about a piece of equipment we were replacing. I explained everything about it truthfully. This led to an unfavorable ruling on funding it, and he was pissed. Basically he yelled at me for doing my job, and told me never to speak about something I didn’t know about. I wanted to strangle him.

It happens. Just wait 10 years and and throw a brick through their window. That's what I always do.

shite at 51 years of age, it's hard to remember a time when I've been treated with respect at work.

Was 22 years old selling cars at tent sells for this company in Sarasota. WAs the youngest salesman by almost double she we were all hand picked salesman from around the country. The other salesman thought they could finesse me out of sales.

In car sales,if I see u and start selling u and have to leave or bring Ib anyone for any reason u split the deal. Well one day I saw this couple and 5 mins later another cliet I had been working comes back and I have to hand it off. Guy ends up selling them on 6 pound deal , I should have made three grand on that the sales manager, who personally brought me down there and whose house I was staying at, gave the entire deal to the other guy. He rationalized it as it was already bad enough I was living rent freehe didn't want it to look like I was playing favorites and he had a point. But the next week I sell a woman a Honda S2000 made two grand and he gives the deal to another guy who didn't sell shite that week because he threatened to quit

So the next week I got my paycheck, cashed it, rented a suite at the Sarasota key club found aocal crack whore and smoked crack and fricked her silly all week. When Carlos sent my best car sales friend to come get me, who was an alcoholic, I got him drunk and he never went back to work either. I had like 4800 that week and knew I was going back home the next week so zero fricks was given

I worked in a pet store and people kept asking how big I'd get.

Last week my tie caught on fire. Some guy tried to put it out with an ax!

Worked for a company for 12 years that I was the head project manager, 8 of which me and the wife were trying to have a child or adopt. Wife finally got pregnant, went and talked to him about travelling less (I was gone 3 weeks a month from Sunday afternoon until Friday night). He told me to either have a career or have a family. I threw my keys on his desk and walked out. Best decision I've ever made. Now I work about half the hours, never travel overnight and make much more money.

I had a supervisor that was very disrespectful to me. We had some big blow outs, yelling at each other. The situation was really anti-productive to the point where I had to go to the head boss. Everyone knew there was a problem and everyone knew he was a jerk. The boss had a talk with him and things never really changed. I am glad to be out of there...I miss that pay check..

Isn't this when you went on a bender and police questioned you for potentially witnessing a murder? I always lose the details in your stories

I was a contractor for a big nuclear company and they put a lot of work on me because I wasn’t “company”. I was away from my family for months at a time and was being treated like crap because I didn’t folllow their way.

I would suggest inspection techniques to simplify and get same results, but they’d constantly tell me that’s not the way they did it, and started to ignore my work plans.

Towards the end of my time with that company the manager started noticing my work ethic and offered me a full time job, but I turned it down because my co workers would have been the worthless, lazy, incompetent POS’ everyone knew them to be.

Miss the money, but I’m much more happy where I am now.

Around 20 years ago, it got so bad with a co-worker that every time I saw him I would take a knee. I had no idea at the time I was a pioneer.

I always try and learn something from each person I work with. I guess it helps when you do come across that total ahole, helps you think about positives and not laying them out. Difficult to say the least.
