Agreed.
Most personalized plates come off as douchey to say the least.
The one I saw recently which didn't was "643 DP", which was obviously an infielder's plate without bashing you over the head with it.

There are worse things to put on there.
One young lady I passed a few years back had "SNMGRL" on her plate or some variant thereof.
I thought it was "cinnamon girl" at first until I got a look at her.
I wonder what kinds of freaks she gets camping out by her car on campus.

They are few and far between. The worst are the 4 SUSIE plates.

I grew up in VA so it was very common. My Dad still has one that reads "SPIDRS" as he went to the University of Richmond.
