Exactly. If they can get here, that means they have figured out how to travel faster than light or create random wormholes or something. If you travel faster than light, that means you are moving with no light around you. You gotta have some form of light for an image. If they are traveling about, you wouldn't know until they are gone and their light catches up. Think about it. The lights we are seeing from stars are millions of light years away. That twinkle you see at night, that's not a live shot. That twinkle is millions of years old.
Or I am wrong. Which is 99% likely.

I saw one near the Illinois-Kentucky border back in January.
It was the middle of the day and it looked like Venus x10 just sitting up in the sky. I was completely transfixed and wondering what the frick it was. I passed under a bridge and looked at the same spot and it was gone. I felt like I was taking crazy pills.

I do not claim to have it all figured out, but the theories of ultraterrestrials (from other dimensions/realms we cannot typically perceive) and cryptoterrestrials (they have always been here...) are batted around by the smarter folks who sincerely look at this objectively...

Why would a living being alien visit earth to do any reconnaissance? Hell we’re developing AI now and we’re a bunch of dumbasses.
Any advanced species would certainly send some sort of artificial drone of some sort to scout us out. It may be so far advanced it may be camouflaged to the point we couldn’t even see it.

I'm not trying to insult you when I say this, but look at that ufo map you posted and compare it to a population map. All the higher sightings aren't connected to caves. Look at lower Florida for instance. That map matches very close to the population grid of our country with the most sightings being in the most populated areas, because more people are there, and less being in areas of hardly any population... Hence Wyoming, Idaho, Montana, etc.
