Hi, it looks like you're either asking too many questions and/or you have too many context sentences. This is against Rule 1. Please condense your question. If you're using an ellipsis (...), replace it with a comma or semicolon. If you're using an abbreviation, just remove the periods.

Reddit is hands down the best place on the internet to find general information on specific topics. It’s the second best place to find niche information on specific topics, behind hobby specific forums.
It’s the worst place on the internet right now to start a topic because moderators there are volunteer and they either power trip or they don’t feel like actually doing their job so they make a bunch of rules to limit posting. It doesn’t help that the site is chock full of bots during election time.

That site sucks. I joined and subscribed to the baton rouge board, thought it would be another way to keep up with whats going on in the Baton Rouge area. This was actually several weeks ago. There was a thread about the school board and I said these exact words "and people wonder why St George formed".
That's actually a fact right? The school system is one of the reasons people want to be under another governing body that's not EBR right? I went back a few days later and I had a message that said I could no longer post on the BR board. I deleted the app.

I understand that there is a " recommended" grammatical usage that should be utilized when you are posting on a site that is politically liberal.

I think it’s no different than here.
You post anything left leaning here and you get shite in by a million people. I think if certain people here had the authority that moderators do on Reddit there would be a whole lot of “libs” banned.

No one wants libs banned here. That is how it is supposed to work. You make a comment people are free to agree or disagree. The difference here is that your post doesn’t disappear after a certain amount of downvotes. This is the public square.

Well I’m not a liberal. In fact, as I’ve said many times, I vote more republican than democrat. I’m just not going to go down a line and tick the R for the sake of it.
As far as being intellectually dishonest, I might accuse you of the same thing. People aren’t banned here because of the lack of power. Reddit mods create subreddits or take them over and have power over the users. If there was the same structure here, there isn’t a doubt in my mind that some of the ultra right political talk users would certainly vie for moderation power and to ban people with whom they disagreed.
It happens on literally every forum that has ever existed unless there is an ultimate authority that fights against it. This place is no different.
