I'd like the political stuff to remain there too, but threads end up there when they go on for too long. A discussion about the LSU Scoreboard can turn into a referendum on something a governor did, if you give it long enough.
I think the bad judgement call most people make is making everything, whether they agree or not, ad hominem. Once someone does that, it's now personal to most. It's more effective to stick to issues, that way when I tell you that school choice benefits minorities, it's not about *you* or *your pronoun," it's less emotional. And get out of threads once they hit more than two pages, lol.

And check occasionally to see if any thread you posted in has been moved to that board. I’ve had that happen and when I found out I immediately went there and deleted all I said because I was getting trashed and didn’t want to get banned again. I also left an explanation of how my comments ended up there just in case. It’s pitiful.
