Can we get this board cleaned up?

It’s become Poli Talk-lite. Even though I agree with the masses in here on the BS going on in this country/world, it gets tiring to see it constantly brought up on here, the OTL.
I quit Facebook because this garbage was unavoidable on there. Twitter has long been a cesspool, so I only go there for random sports updates. Now, the filth continues to slide over to this place.
There’s constantly threads on the first page talking about the latest police shooting, or some incident involving blacks that may or may not be controversial. At this point, the people starting all of these threads are just as guilty as MSM. They hurry up to the Lounge so they can post a link and get hits. It’s pathetic. Take that shite to the other board. Let’s make this place fun again.

I’ve noticed this trend also. The OT is supposed to be for random, off-topic discussions. A lot of politics have made their way onto this board and I’d rather it stay in the Poli-board as well
