Everything from the food you eat, to where you go to eat, to the sports you watch, to the sports heroes you have, all of that has become political. It may not be desirable that the OT is so political, but it reflects real life. Society is cramming cancer down your throat, whether you want it, or not.
You can't hide from it anymore, and that's what's so miserable about modern America. There's no refugee.
