Waffle House is Dirty. We All Know That.

Last time I went to ihop (seign ln), me and my husband put in our order, then 45 min plus later,( we didn't relize how much time passed, we enjoy our convos) the waitress let us know she forgot about us, and our food will be free. We got up and left instantly and let them keep their cold free food. Drive right to waffle house and had food in front of us within 15 mins. I'll never go to ihop again.

I don't know man, not gonna downvote ya, but travelling on a road trip is the only time I'll eat at one of those places....I haven't been to an IHOP in many many years so can't comment....
As for Waffle House, well, yeah, some folks look a little rough, but the breakfast has always been good, you can see them cooking it, and while some of the folks seem a little rough around the edges, I see a lot of long haul truck drivers and hard working blue collar types in there...I wouldn't expect to see them in a fancy restaurant or in my social circles, but they don't seem "trashy."

Exactly. I always thought the fact that Waffle House cooks everything in front of you makes me more comfortable than not knowing whatever goes on behind closed doors

IHOP is full of the fattest people I have ever seen.

I really hope most IHOPs aren’t like the two in BR that may as well be cage fights in an indoor shooting range after dark. Waffle House is peaceful sketchy. IHOP (on college) is down right dangerous.
