Precisely.

You're tryna turn this into something else, per par, ST

I really don't think an employer would care about a sex story, regardless of how nasty, unless the girl was really a boy. It's also possible that you'd be in a bind if said employer was female or really religious.

I could image someone not getting or losing a job from posts about drugs for sure. You should go back and edit your post history for things that may look bad. Other than drugs or committing any serious crimes or DWIs, etc. I wouldn't see an employer having a problem as long as you didn't purposely make your identity known on the board or mention the company in a non-flattering way.

Would you really want to work for someone that considered Tigerdroppings postings as a consideration for hiring you ?

I think it has a lot more to do with the time spent posting here. Not necessarily what you post.

They got fired for what they posted or because they were posting all day while they were at work ?

I try and not say stuff online that I wouldn't say IRL. Doesn't always happen, but that's my goal.

It was me
Unless he's talking about someone new who had it happen to them.

And it was more about the time spent posting than what was said.

Besides instances of that here I've seen someone on another Site lose their job over derogatory Posts about his employee.

Not sure how they found them.

Do you put your username on your resume? How would they know what it is?

whenever i landed my first legal job i was open about it. i mean like a month after i left LC to go back to school, i was hosting the tigerdroppings radio show...it's not exactly some secret. i'm no longer the same type of poster, and i don't post nearly as much anymoe, so looking forward it shouldn't be an issue

i'm self-employed now, so i am my own boss. if i don't fail at that, i don't have to worry about it. people did contact my job/boss, though

i don't comment on my own cases and i barely comment in legal threads (unless it's lawyers talking about legal stuff. i mean i don't post in legal advice threads...better way to say it).

i'm also mostly a poli board and movie board poster. if my beliefs in both areas will get me in trouble at a job, they would irl as well
