If for instance the employer were go find out you posted on here and knew your username and read through your posts. Has anyone known an employer to do this? I know some companies check your facebook and Twitter, but what about your postings on message boards?

I have alot of posts that im not proud of so it would suck if somewhere I applied to denied me because I posted a story about a chick shitting herself during intercourse with her.

Absolutely it can. Not just TD--anything you put out there on the web.

If you're going to say stupid/off color/controversial shite, better make damn sure it can't be traced back to you. That's just common sense.

Well if you're that paranoid about it, you're not off to a good start here....

shitting herself
come on, man. Stop trying to tidy it up. She was simply, very graphic with her analysis of your fornicating skills.

I think anything you post online can come back to bite you in the arse. Including amazon reviews and shite like that.

Its possible for sure, since I would by no means to want an employer to know I post here, but you've got to be an idiot to get fired for it. Landing one, you'd have to be sure to bring it up and tell them how to research your post history, which would make you a complete retard.

Yep, even if you post the most vile porn possible, your posts are still here, and you can't edit them in that case.

No, your post history is still there.

If you want your post history to be deleted, spend the time needed editing every one of your posts or ask the admins to completely delete it all.

This is why you always take great care to keep your Internet shite secret and tight lipped.

Don't post any obvious details about your personal life and if you just can't help yourself, at least make sure those details are few and far between.

This also why you need to be downright anal-retentive about keeping your personal life and professional career/life/opportunities separate and as far away from each other as possible. If you can't do it, bad and unfortunate shite is going to happen to you.

This is so dangerous, in my mind.

It's obviously not a good idea to say certain things, but things should be questioned, saying something that isn't exactly at the beat of normal shouldn't be deterred by anything.

So many things in history happen from breaking out of what is the norm, so many things had to start as controversial. I think it's a dangerous spot to raise a society on the idea to not mess with the herd, to stay within the lines of normal and not question things out loud.
