If you can still make a Roth contribution than you are not as rich as you think.

And don’t try to bring up some backdoor bullshite.

Lots of times a salesman can get you a better deal than what you see online.

Why because you aren't smart enough to understand it? Go stick a pork chop in a hot tub nerd

I've already straight up told them I'm trolling and they can't stop. Quality entertainment for me.

Even if I did, it'd still be better than driving a truck around asking how many more 12 packs of coke and bags of chips the local Chevron needs. Do they at least let you snag a couple every shift?

I'm not reading all 17 pages, so this has probably been mentioned, but a large aspect of sales for most people is building relationships with customers. Especially in industries where you are selling a service and not just a tangible product.

Yeah right. Working for Coca Cola is his dream job vecsuse he can skim a few products off the top to bring back to Caden and Jaxon so they can get their sugar fix and play Fort bite. At least that way he can get drunk without his litter shite eaters bothering him after a long day of unloading boxes of snickers

I can find the exact specs of products online so if I were the device company why would I pay such a high commission for someone to go sell it?

I've worked with this salesman named Bob for over 20 years. Even though I can find the info online that doesn't mean I trust the marketing of that website or myself to make a 200k purchase for a hospital off a website online. However, knowing Bob and all of our previous transactions, I know I can trust him to answer all questions, give straight answers when asked, and confidently work with him on this purchase. And if by chance something fails, I know Bob will help me through making things right. A marketed website cannot do that or a no name 1-800 number customer service rep will be a PITA.

I drive a beer truck. Even though my customers can just buy their alcohol through Drizzly and have it delivered I’m a damn good delivery driver and my route is my life.

It does bring their employer value. Which company would you rather choose:

1) Company A with a good, local sales rep who answers emails/calls promptly and can give you information beyond what is on their website like delivery timelines

2) Purchase online and have to call 1-800 numbers anytime you need assistance. Assistance they can't provide themselves, but instead create a ticket for somebody else to contact you.

Can't answer with given info. What if company A is 25% more expensive and defect percentage is very small?
