I bought two items for $1 total.

I sold one of those items, netting about $12 profit. The other item is still up for sale.

I spent the $12 on a few items, two of the items sold for $44 net profit. The other items are still for sale.

I spent $32 of my $44 on a few items, including a bracelet worth over $400.

I have a bunch of items for sale and somewhere around $500 in cash when the bracelet sells (I know it will).

All this and only spent $1 out of my pocket.

Items I have for sale and their estimated values:

Santa Fe poster $20
LSU pour spout $15
Dole book $15
Bronco covers $20
Harley helmets $100
Monteblanc case $15
Silver bracelet $20
Gold bracelet $500

I sold the railroad ashtray for about $10 net profit, so I now have $22 in cash, and $705 in merchandise.

All for a one dollar bill.

That’s amazing. I love going to estate sales but it’s more just browsing trying to help my daughter fill her new home with her Pinterest ideas.

I’ve never found a ring or jewelry with stones worth anything. I’ve found some with tiny diamonds in them, but we are talking 1/10th of a carat or smaller.

The jewelry I’ve found over the years have basically sold for melt, except a few designer pieces.

You can buy a jewelers loop and look for the stamps on the metal. Gold and silver should be stamped 14K for example or 925 on sterling.

I see sushi and high speed rail in the near future for you!
