That's how it is for me. Managed to sleep til 6:45 this morning (6:00 on weekdays), but I went to sleep at 1 AM last night, so I still feel exhausted

I wake up at 5am on the dot every day. On weekends I can usually go back to bed for a few hours after eating breakfast. That is my idea of heaven-those extra few hours of sleep after eating a big 'ol breakfast with a bloody mary. It does me a world of good.

I work night shift so I don't know what sleeping in means unless you mean waking up at 3pm

Just reverse my pattern and you'll be good, brother.

I'm up 6-6:30 every weekend. I feel like I waste my day if I sleep in and wake up aggravated. I love the morning.

The worst part about it is my wife and kids aren't in a hurry in the morning (any morning) so I end up antsy and pacing around the house telling them to hurry up so we can do what needs to be done.

I'm up at 5:15am every Monday thru Friday. Most weekends I'm up by 6am. Every once in a while I manage to sleep in until 7am. When I was a younger man I'd sleep till noon on Saturday and Sunday

I wake up wide arse awake on Saturdays and Sundays, around 7:15.

I like it. Means I can start early doing whatever.

You are supposed to do that. Body should stay on a sleep cycle or else you will be all screwed up for the week.

I do. I'm usually up between 6:30-7 daily unless we stay up really late the night before. Give me time to knock some stuff out without my rugrats getting in the way.

My wife has always been a late sleeper and our kids take after her. They're still out and I've already had round 1 of coffee, went to The grocery store, glued up a table top I fitted up yesterday, and now round two of coffee. They'll be poking their head out the window soon....

I could sleep until noon during college easily. Now that I've woken up at 6 every day during the week for 4 years I can't sleep past 6:45 or so on the weekends.

My dad used to wake us up as kids at 8 on the weekends. Said you're burning daylight if you sleep past 8.

Now I'm up around 6/630 on weekends, which I guess is an hour later than I sleep on weekdays so I can't complain too much.

I normally wake up at 4:15 so I guess I "sleep in" to around 6:30 most days on the weekend.

I consider that a win.
