I got the money, but I'm not really mechanically inclined.

An LS engine, turbo and a 200 shot?

If money isn't an issue, take it to a shop and have it done right.

Pay somebody to do it if you're willing to burn cash.

If you're only getting 600hp out of an LSX with a turbo and a 200 shot, you probably have two plug wires disconnected.

seriously. If you have the money why the hell are you trying to farm this out to an internet message board that doesn’t even specialize in auto repair

Lighter, cheaper and as much or more power than the Ford alternative...I can see why.

Putting an ls into a mustang is more common then putting in a ford engine.

OP there are sites that have tons of info on the subject. Here's maybe the best. There are even kits made to do it, but if you're not mechanically inclined just pay someone to do it for you.

Lighter? Sure but for the cost of adapting a LSx you can put an iron 351W based mill in the Mustang that can handle all the power the OP wants and with more aftermarket parts to choose from. Sorry, small block Fords still have way more parts and options than LSx engines. I'd build a Mod motor before putting in a junkyard LS too if going with a power-adder, factory iron and aluminum Mod blocks are considerably stronger than even the GMPP LSX race block let alone the production castings.

LS motors are the best for hot rodding. They are cheap and the aftermarket support is great and they are easy to build. You can cherry pick things that are better about the ford but as a whole for the average dude the LS is the shite.

Supercharged Coyote swap. Bring it to Chris Car Doc in Houston, and hand him $30K.

Putting a GM engine in a Ford is a good damn crime against the Universe.
