Surely someone is paid to make sure that it doesn't, right? Is the budget for this lower than it was in the past or something?

Insert joke about people moving into the neighborhood and not keeping the yard up

I drove through it the other day for the first time in a while. Noticed the same. Frankly, parts of it look like a dump

Facility services does more inside/building stuff when classes are out. I’d imagine that means they have less time for the outside

I don't know, I think Southeastern looks pretty good.

It was noticeable before the new chancellor or whatever was hired honestly. And yes the grass not being mowed in places is part of it.

Be sure to donate. They need your money to pay the Messicans to tidy up the joint.

Some of the lecture halls are falling apart. I remember recently walking into Prescott this year and noticed that nothing had been done to renovate it since I was a freshman (early 2010s). It’s embarrassing.

So, what exactly are they doing with the donated funds they keep begging for?

If OP is talking about LSU, he is 100% right and I almost made this thread last weekend

Took my kids to run around campus while we were visiting, and it looked like absolute shite. Weeds everywhere, landscaping was horrendous, just not a good look at all

seems the MO is to allow things to fall into disrepair to justify getting new buildings, MORE MONEY, etc. you want nice roads we need a gas tax. You want police protection we need higher salaries. On and on and on.

Sounds like to me alot of folks need to close the pocket books, and that goes as far as anything related to the university.
