Dubose's son, Samuel, told WKRC, "He was coming home that night and we had a projector so we were going to watch a movie on it but we didn't get to do that ... because he died."
...I chuckled.

The Natty will be burning by this weekend.

Well now we know why Obama lowered the flags today to half mast. And you suckers thought it was for the servicemen.

When you try to fight a cop, you will most likely get shot. Thankfully this guy seems like scum so he won't be missed.
I agree with that statement most of the time, but not so sure on this one.

According to police, Tensing asked Dubose to step out of the car, at which point a struggle ensued.
"There was a struggle at the door with Mr. Dubose in the vehicle and the officer outside the vehicle, and the vehicle sped away," Cincinnati police Lt. Col. James Whalen told reporters.
Police said Dubose then stuck his key back in the ignition and sped away as Tensing fired a single shot, hitting the driver in the head.
I'm going to need to see all the facts but my initial opinion is that this may have been an unjustified shooting.

Would this even be a story if those two details were reversed?
No, no it wouldn't. This is the sh*t that news media waits for.

And I thought it was going to be a slow race war week.

60 times and he was out on the streets and yet there are retards who say we have too many people locked up in this country!
If anything we should have WAY more people behind bars!

Tensing asked several times to see Dubose's driver's license, Cincinnati police said. Instead, police said, Dubose handed the officer a bottle of alcohol.

Tensing fell to the ground as he fired the shot, bruising his legs and tearing his uniform, Cincinnati police said.

Assume his first arrest was at age 13.....that's 2 arrests a year for 30 years straight.....think about that for a minute.
In fairness, they don't give a number on convictions. Could just be bad luck.

I see the media/cop smear campaign has begun. The number of children or the number of arrest have zero to do with this incident. The cops killed another man fleeing. RIP.

Why not?
Because it's a stop to generate revenue when not a single person was endangered. Sounds all well and good until the university/city is involved in a massive lawsuit (whether the shooting was justified or not).
Who gets to pay for the lawsuit? You and I do through higher taxes.

if the guy was driving off, the cop needs to let him go, call backup and have them all stop him. you cant just shoot him while he is leaving, you are not in fear for your life at that point.
that's like someone robbing my car and running away when they see me, I cant just shoot them as the run away...

In Louisiana they are under the Department of Public Safety (essentially State Police).
This is not correct. They fall under the same retirement as the DPS Police (not the same as LSP), but LSUPD, SUPD, BRCCPD, etc, work for the university that they patrol.

I can see if the dude was trying to run him over, but the article isn't very clear.
May have to wait for the facts before I chime in on this one. Who am I kidding, the media isn't going to update this story with facts.
