Can you create something like your avi, but incorporate the letter "G" to the 3rd power?

re: Righties and Lefties: Where would you cut or tax to align spending with revenues

Eliminate the IRS, and move from an income tax model to a sales tax model, so everyone has skin in the game. Lower tax on commodities than on all other items.
Eliminate DOE, and move all student loans (if they aren't already) to the Treasury. Create an Education advisory board for education-related policies.
Increase debt now and do away with Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security. Pay back all FICA paid in (minus any payouts) for each citizen, and get out of the health insurance and retirement realms.
Cut all other departments ~15% the first year, and review a five-year history of expenditures v. revenues to look for inefficiencies. Year 2, cut inefficiencies and backfill vacancies in usable departments with cuts from attrition/layoffs.

re: Top 5 shows to watch either on Netflix/Hulu/Prime/Regular TV?

Frontier was pretty good (Netflix I believe).
Jack Ryan (Prime)
Man in the High Castle
Handmaid's Tale

If EBR would have granted the school district for the incorporated area, the whole St George city wouldn’t have happened.
St G folks to EBR - “We want our own school district.”
EBR folks - “ LoL, no. The only way you can do that, is if you were your own city.
St G folks - “Ok, Hold my beer.”
And here we are now.
I don’t live in the proposed St G area, but I hope this passes. It’s the wake up call EBR needs.
This was actually the state legislature, not EBR. The initial promoters of a St. George ISD had Bodi White (I think) propose a bill to create the ISD, and many urban legislators cried that you had to have an incorporated city first. And now we are where we are.

My oldest son disrespected my wife once in our home. I swept the leg, pinned him with my knee on his cheek bone and the hardwood floor and told him he had a choice, apologize, get in line or walkout the door with the clothes on his back. The 2 younger sons saw all this and I never had a problem with any of them after that.
Had this same problem with my oldest. I think he wanted me to hit him so he could call the cops. We pushed each other a bit, then I took him down, knee to the hip (he was on his side) and open hand to the side of his face. He was told that if I wanted to hurt him, I could, but I didn't want to. He had a choice to make, and his choice was to move to his grandparents.
Now he and I are back on speaking terms, and he is heading to boot camp for LANG and possibly Army ROTC.
Have you looked into BREC ball? There used to be a pretty decent league out at Lovett Road Park in Central, that wasn't high-priced like Traction.

re: O-T Parents of Teens: do you check your kids’ phones?

My daughter is 15 as well, with a drama-filled life created by her. My wife and I installed an app that costs $35 a year on her phone, so we can have access to everything on her phone from my wife's phone. Not sure of the name of the app, but my wife loves it. And we can curb the stupid shite with my daughter before she has a chance to screw up.
I sometimes look through the app with my wife, and have to tell her to step back from the cliff. Some of the battles aren't worth fighting.

This would be nice.
re: For those in the workforce, which degree do you wish you could have went for instead?

I wish I would have been able to stay with my Chemistry major, or even go ChemE. I settled for an Accounting Degree.
Negative...Border should be Florida Blvd. There are still sane people north of I12.
Golfer, I tend to agree with this sentiment. But St. George has to go to a vote, and the ISD needs to be set up ASAP. Also, ALL unincorporated areas south and east of BR need to be included.
If this happens, I could see residents petitioning for their areas to be annexed to St. George, if possible by State Statute.

I graduated from Southeastern. I chose there instead of LSU, because it was a good bit cheaper, and it took me about the same time to get to Hammond from my house as it did to get to LSU.

Celebrate his entire heritage the entire year...screw BHM. And yes, I understand that rational thought is frowned upon here.

I could have sworn he was on the trip. Am I thinking of the wrong candidate? If so, I will edit my post.
He was on the trip, but was not one of the Troopers that took a State vehicle to Vegas. He flew to SD with the Colonel.

I still have a LA license plate from probably 5 years ago and I've never been alerted of a fine. I've used dmv to get a new true ID license recently also.
Did you sell the vehicle, or just stop driving it?

While I agree with your sentiment, the truth is that no mater what your status is in terms of ownership whether you owned it outright or were still financing it, the plate needs to be turned in in order to signify that your vehicle is no longer in your name and that you will no longer be responsible for the insurance.
That does signify that, but you don't have to turn the plate in. You just have to show you sold the vehicle, via Bill of Sale, or copy of signed title. If donated, an Act of Donation is needed.
