Dan White, who killed Mayor Moscow and Supervisor Harvey Milk in SF got off on “diminished capacity” which was informally known as the “Twinkie defense”.

Irony there is he didn't actually blame the Twinkies. He was a health nut and the Twinkies were evidence that he wasn't behaving normally (for him) in the time leading up to the shootings.

Also didn't kill Milk for his sexuality - they were former political allies and White was targeting people he felt had double-crossed him.

Yes, the smoke from a joint is harmful, but y'know what? There's a number of alternatives to smoking marijuana.

This ^

I eyeroll when people like to challenge legalization because of MJ smoke.

For one, the government shouldn't be able to tell you what you can do with your own body.

And 2nd, there are edibles, vape, drinks available to ingest THC safer than smoking.

If probably is. Everything we put in our mouth with coloring likely is. If California is on to it, so be it. Could be Kansas for all I care.

Tylenol doesn't work for me anyway. I'm an ibuprofen guy.

This is an incredibly stupid and entirely predictable outcome of California's toxic lawsuit culture.

This article all but admits that there is little actual scientific basis for this.

This is true. It really doesn't take a ton of acetaminophen to cause liver failure.

However there is no real evidence Tylenol is any more carcinogenic than just living, especially in say L.A.

apparently people don't understand how bad Tylenol is. It was pushed through in an era poor research where it was easier to buy off FDA approvals. If the same drug were presented now to the FDA for over the counter use it would be denied.

Yep. I only take it as a last resort. Supposedly you can only take so much during your lifetime or else it messes you up bad.

Overdose is the key-I doubt there is any drug or food that is not dangerous when one takes an overdose.Even excessive water can kill you.Google water intoxication-excessive water ingestion can cause life threatening electrolyte imbalance.

There is "potentially" one recorded THC overdose by a woman in New Orleans, that doctor's are still unsure if that was the exact cause. It is still widely believed in the medical community that it is near impossible to OD on THC. Tylenol, not so much
