I'm curious as to what kind of rider you have that would be relevant in such a situation?

Scheduled property rider for a $200K fossil on display in your living room?

But really doesn't all type of liability exist because people do dumb stuff?

Good luck thinking your insurance company is going to cover the liability in this kind of situation.

There's exclusions in the policy for intentional or criminal acts.

The bottom photo is how it’s displayed now.

Really messed up those idiots had to ruin the exhibit for everyone. Now it will have to be roped off or relocated to keep smooth brains from messing with it.

ETA: 2 different photo locations. Not sure which one is the correct location

The first on is from the lodge. The second one is the one they broke in the museum.

This dudes look mid 40’s

Did you see the videos of the whack jobs keying Teslas last year? I would say it was higher than mid-40s. Late 40s, early 50s.

I once saw Shoji Tabuchi (RIP), Merle Haggard (RIP) and Willie Nelson perform in Branson, MO. Not all together. Just Merle and Willie together. Not since early 19th Century Vienna could a person take in so much musical virtuosity in one place as the mid-90s in Branson, MO. And Vienna didn't have the creepy evangelical deal going on. Little langiappe for Branson.

What made them think this was a good idea?

Well for one, he might own the only other wooly mammoth tusk in the world and his values just quintupled making him a millionaire?

If you're ever in Branson you really need to check out this place. The Table Rock up there does an incredible job of preserving fossilized bones and ancient artifacts. The dozen + rooms of Native American antiquities alone make it worth your time

Been there. It’s awesome. They should just put a bullet in these 2. They obviously offer no benefit to society

99% guess they were drunk AF and this was for a social media post.

"Hey, dude. Wouldn't it be epic if you hung from that tusk?"

Take them over to Douglas County. Tell the folks there that these two are from California and broke $200,000 worth of Bass Pro stuff. Those dudes will get retribution in horrible ways.

was there between Christmas and New Years and can confirm it is a pretty kick arse place

Went Thanksgiving before last. The deal was I got to nerd it out for several hours in the museum, then wife and kids got to eat at the restaurant and did the Xmas light golf cart tour. I haven't been to any Native American museums out West but their collection definitely rivals the Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian.

Guess I was wrong for assuming that most prehistoric artifacts on display at museums was fake or imitations?

No you’re ??% right. The earth is 6000 years old. Those artifacts were staged by God/Jesus hating heathens.
