Screw that. Tax rates should be low and flat for all classes until you get into the upper millions and then the billions, then make them pay more of their fat stacks to help the greater good.

They're blaming all this on the pandemic, LOL. Figures, stupid damn democrat liberals.

What about the millions of illegals they welcome and give free aid to? Does that cost them 0$?

Cali’s debt was right at half a trillion dollars before the corona. They can never get out of that hole.

I truly don’t think they thought about it.

That figure is higher than the deficit during the Great Recession and obliterates the state’s once-healthy reserves.

Those reserves were a mirage.

California should just send less tax dollars for the federal government to redistribute to poorer states.

California has tons of kooky people, but they're an economic powerhouse as a state. It just goes to show you what happens with unrestrained government spending, especially in the area of public employment pensions

I’m so tired of hearing about money, taxes, and seeing so much greed and good people getting ripped off.
I don’t know how, when, or why so many of us got off track and away from just owning and enjoying the simple pleasures and basic joys of life to getting so consumed with buying anything and everything brand new, overpriced, and on credit.
Most of us own everything in the world, yet most people aren’t really happier or better people with all these excessive materialistic purchases.

So wait ... does that mean they’re not going to be paying $75MM in stimulus money to illegal aliens now???

Right.

And it’ll stop there. Cali won’t circle back the next election to raise taxes a bit more, then a bit more, then a bit more....to continue spending said tax money on illegals, healthcare for all, useless programs, overpaid officials, and other shite they can’t afford.

Since it’s his side that fomented and exacerbated this farce, Newcomb and his state can eat shite.

Gavin is a socialist POS and the national media is not showing all the pissed off people revolting against his asanine orders - the protests are so huge that he has decided to start opening up the economy tomorrow. I love CA but HATE the total takeover by the Pinkos. Time for a Revolution.
