Would the fact that Volvo has been owned by a Chinese company since 2010 have any impact on your decision to purchase a new Volvo SUV for the wife?

No, not unless it affected the quality of the vehicle

They make some Volvos here in SC. Best model in their fleet at that.

I'm not a cuck, so I buy what I want, when I want.

The short answer is no, but I haven't considered a Volvo purchase.
I do my best to avoid Chinese products for more than one reason but with some products, it is difficult to do. China is not a friend of the US.

If you're having reservations about buying a Volvo, it's not for you.

I haven't considered a Volvo. Not because they are Chinese, but because they don't make F250s.

F250 isn't baw enough for Volvo.

I don't think the division that manufactures the big trucks went to the Chinese, but I'm quite possibly wrong. #teampeterbilt anyway.

Yes. Wife wouldn't even look at them. Bought 2020 RDX instead.

yes, absolutely.
I would not have bought a Mercedes during WW2 either.
