Buying a Volvo/China Owned Company

Would the fact that Volvo has been owned by a Chinese company since 2010 have any impact on your decision to purchase a new Volvo SUV for the wife?

They make some Volvos here in SC. Best model in their fleet at that.

The short answer is no, but I haven't considered a Volvo purchase.

I do my best to avoid Chinese products for more than one reason but with some products, it is difficult to do. China is not a friend of the US.

I haven't considered a Volvo. Not because they are Chinese, but because they don't make F250s.

I don't think the division that manufactures the big trucks went to the Chinese, but I'm quite possibly wrong. #teampeterbilt anyway.

I would not have bought a Mercedes during WW2 either.
