Is everyone doing this right now? Are there any dealers sticking to MSRP with little to no fees?
Truck MSRP $46,000
But wait, there is a $6000 add-on package.
It's literally tint, wheel locks, and floor mats.

If you wanna charge a markup just say it dude.

Ask for the cash payment price.

Not afraid to admit I'm not an OT baller so cash price won't help me.
I do have financing thru credit union though

My hubby’s work don’t pull that shirt but they also tell their employees not to expect a discount beyond what they offer the public.

Oh I will but I am curious how many dealers are really pulling this shite. I'm fine with paying a few hundred bucks to get a deal done but the last 2 dealers I've been talking to are refusing to negotiate down on it.

Tell that dealership to frick off and that you will never buy another vehicle from them again.

Look elsewhere

Does it literally list that as the add on? Just ask for a version without.

I ordered a truck from a GM dealer in Lafayette in March at straight MSRP. The only BS add on they do is $299 for “VIN Etching”. It’s total BS but it’s the best I could find on a 3500 High Country.

The good news is I’m getting exactly what I paid for my trade in Jan 2020 on a certified 2018 Denali 2500.

Win some lose some.

Um, that means you can negotiate for the cash price baw

Credit union pays the dealer in full, so you are paying cash as far as any dealer is concerned

I had a dealership do this to me a couple years back when I was buying a truck. The online price vs the price on the sheet was about 6k different. They said the online price didn’t include all the add one even though they were all pictured. I told them to piss off and bought the same truck elsewhere.

Can’t get vehicles, gotta pay the bills somehow. They are all doing it.
