Um, that means you can negotiate for the cash price baw

I would be very surprised if "cash price" is even a thing anymore. The dealer wants you to use their financing, so cash sales are already not desirable to them. A cash sale that is actually outside lending instead of theirs?

They might do the sale if they're nice, but they're certainly not discounting the price for that.

The local Toyota Dealer wasn’t adding any up charges.
My wife wanted a Toyota Chr that was still in Japan.
It was cheap. $27k loaded. Yep

I think people believe the answers change if they start a new thread.

have an order in for a different truck but afraid it will take 6 months to get here.

No need to worry my friend. It will take 6 months and 2 days. That’s what my f150 took that was ordered in December

But trade ins are stupid high also
Doesn't make up for that 3-6k mark-up above MSRP. Not close. You're getting cornholed if you buy new now.

The car dealership model is a aging dinosaur. Pretty soon it will be direct to consumer with service centers instead.

Barker GMC in Houma

Bought 2 trucks there. My last one I searched from Mobile to Houston and as far north as Little Rock, going back and forth with different dealers, Barker was about $120 more than the cheapest I found.

I was well satisfied both times. Their lot is pretty thin right now though, most other places are as well.

They don’t care about your opinion. All you are to a dealer is a number.

I mean……you’re right, but all you are is a number with every damn company you do business with. No one gives a damn about you personally….no one.

Dealers want you to finance so they can make money there. Never tell a dealer you are paying cash for a car.

Maybe a typo? Should have been $600 for that? $350 for tint, $200 for floor mats and $50 for locks?
