In their early spread around the nation, Starbuck's used to target areas where local coffee shops were. Don't think that's the case much anymore since they've become so ubiquitous.

Good point. In Mandeville in about a 3 block stretch on same street there's a Napa, OReillys, Autozone, and Advance.

Lowe's and Home Depot are sometimes close.

Where I live they are across the street from each other.
